- The Animal Shelter takes all animals and helps them find homes but they primarily take in Dogs & Cats.
Adopting a Pet
First you need to decide what type of pet you are looking for; male, female, young, old, indoor, outdoor, size.
Second check out what pets are available that fit what you are looking for and start the bonding process, pet the animal ( remember palm up).
Ask the shelter attendant what information they can give you on the animal.
When the process of picking out your new pet is done you can do the paper work.
Take home your new pet!

- What You Can Do To Help The Animals!
TOYS! TOYS! TOYS! We need toys for the animals to play with, preferably hard toys that they can't chew up very easily
We are in need of volunteers!*
*If you are under the age of 18 please have your parent with you
Shelter help, not just for poop-n-scoop clean up, we need help in the office, doing laundry, answering phones, walking the dogs ( all dogs love to go for a walk), Socialize with the puppies, assisting people when they come in to adopt a pet. The shelter will help train you for these things but mostly all you need is a big heart and common sense.
You can donate food (for both dogs and cats), blankets, sheets, paper plates, newspapers.
We need foster parents.
Cash donations are welcomed! All monies donated to the shelter goes for the Animals!
